You know you've read a good book when you turn the last page and feel a little as if you have lost a friend. - Paul Sweeney This quote was said by Paul Sweeney, an Irish author. He wrote several books about the Irish economy, and many articles about economics and business. He was born in 1955, and graduated from Trinity College, Dublin.  I chose this quote because I know this feeling all too well. I have experienced this time after time, and I've become familiar with this sentiment over the years. I started reading when I was 2 years old, and I've barely stopped since. Books made up a huge part of my childhood, and this quote really resonated with me. The author is trying to capture the reluctant, lost feeling of finishing a good book, and I think he found an excellent analogy.
